“1001 Spices” from Hamburg stands for finest spice blends. In 2003, former graphic designer Bettina Matthaei and her daughter Katharina Wilck founded their family business.
In keeping with the tradition of the Hanseatic city, raw spices from all over the world flow together here and are processed into extraordinary blends in the manufactory. This process creates flavorings starting from the main course to dessert. In elaborate manual work, the different spices are ground, mixed, bottled and labeled. Thus, the manufactory can only produce small quantities and therefore pertains to individual customers in the area of private label. In addition to numerous private and corporate customers, the customer base also includes delicatessen and fine dining. Short intervals in the production allow the necessary freshness and exclusivity of the high-quality compositions.
