The hand-blend, plant based botanical scents of the Accord series come from the perfumery AER, which has opened up a special niche in Berlin. Modern, complex and unique, they are produced exclusively in small series. They are 100% natural, vegan and free of synthetic substances.
In December 2007, the make-up artist Stefan Kehl and creative director Ted Young-Ing founded the independent Berlin perfume house AER. They believe in the power of healing in their fragrances, building them around a solid and strong heart note. Their first collection consists of four highly concentrated, long-lasting and gender-neutral eau de parfums: the bold and exotic Accord no. 1 (Nargamotha) with powerful hits of Nargamotha, the smoky and mysterious Accord no. 2 (Cade) with green notes from Weymouth Pine and Himalayan Fir, the elegant and beguiling Accord no. 3 (Ambre) with Amyris and Peruvian balsam and the fresh and creative Accord no. 4 (Cedar) fusing woodnotes with lavender, ginger and peppercorns. For their ingredients Kehl and Young-Ing draw on small producers from all over the world who – like the founders – value traditional techniques and fair trade.
