In Saxon Switzerland, two young founders demonstrate how creative and varied the cocoa bean can be – chocolate in always new and surprising variations becomes a real experience.
Since 2009, Adoratio is producing top-class sweets simply out of love for chocolate. The chocolate creations with dried fruits, nougat, marzipan or nuts, are produced in a vault below the beautiful and venerable Thürmsdorf Castle – here the conditions are ideal for refining the 100% organically certified ingredients into unique delicacies. Right from the start, the two founders Susanne Engler and Moritz Hitzer placed full emphasis on the interplay of tradition, sustainability and regionality in their manufactory. Not least this made them an official partner of the Green Tec Award in 2013. So nothing is left to chance in Saxon Switzerland when it comes to producing “chocolate with corners and edges”, as the company’s philosophy says. New experiments are always part of the program, as it should be with true love and devotion. After all, Adoratio also means exactly that: worship.
