ALBEC Alfred Becker has been specializing in the manufacturing of storage systems for finest quality cutlery (flatware) including self-assembly cutlery storage system, cases, canteens, cutlery rolls and bespoke made to measure cutlery drawer inserts since the 1950s. Thus, the cutlery is gently and clearly stored, requiring less cleaning and remains protected from scratches.
ALBEC was founded in Dresden in 1885 as a bookbindery by Alfred Becker. After the company had been completely destroyed in 1945, the son and grandson of the founder rebuilt the operation in Lauterbach, Hesse. Today Michael Becker, great-grandson of Alfred Becker, is the sole owner. All articles are distributed via the retail trade in Germany and various neighboring European countries. The products are handmade and can be customized for the customer. In addition to the storage of cutlery ALBEC also manufactures storages for jewelry and watches.
