What started as a small distillery in 1844 in the “Cross-post” inn is now a medium-sized company, family run by the sixth generation, and internationally successful – especially with the classic Black Forest Kirschwasser, Himbeergeist and Williams-Birne.
The name Schladerer stands for quality Black Forest fruit spirits – bottled in the famous Schladerer square bottle. Only handpicked fruit of selected regions and varieties is used for Schladerer fruit brandies. In this case, these selected Cognacs retain their mild character for years either in stone clay jugs or in oak barrels.
The Schladerer brand is now sold in over 40 countries around the world and is anchored firmly within the range of sophisticated international cuisine like no other German spirits brand.
