“Candide” was founded in 2017 in Berlin by Daniel Budde, who was trained in the realms of the fine-dining sector, for instance at the “Hotel Adlon” and “Zermatter Hof”. He also worked with the well-known Chef Patissier Tim Raue.
Together with Christopher O’Connor and Michael T. Simpson they have created a modern brand which aims to blends old-school craft with new ways of enjoying chocolate. Since then Candide produces delightful pralinés by hand, which are made from pure, high quality, original cocoa beans. Candide offers a wide range of tasty pralinés without preservatives, in which the cocoa beans are combined with fruits, herbs, honey, liquors or spices.
