The Schleswig-Holstein manufacturer “Daja Chocolate” handcrafts fine chocolates and truffles, bar and broken chocolate, and high-quality drinking chocolate. The chocolatiers make a point: the quality of the product starts with the quality of the ingredients.
The fruit chocolates are created with fresh fruit – no extra aromas or additives – and their caramel is made on location. Marzipan and nut products are sourced from nearby Lübeck and the chocolate comes from different countries around the world. Their creations stand out with their enticing flavours and harmoniously matched ingredients. The devoted and passionate methods of the manufacturer bring high quality, carefully packed, hand-made chocolates, pralines and gift sets for any occasion into being.
In 2009, Danila and Jan Klüver began the setup and operation of a German bakery in Finland. In 2013 they returned to Germany: in Flensburg they ran an ice cream parlour, in which they produced all sorts of chocolates during the winter months. Following the positive response, they dreamed of opening up a chocolate factory. In the rose and wedding capital Uetersen, west of Hamburg, this wish came true and they founded a chocolate manufacturer on an old brewery site. A good decision: in 2015, for their coffee-marzipan and red berry compote chocolates, they received the silver award in the German-speaking area category of the International Chocolate Awards, after having received the bronze for their almond-nougat and Caipirinha chocolate in 2014, the latter even winning the silver award in the global category.
