The carefully chosen gourmet beans are traditionally drum roasted, a method that was commonly used over 100 years ago. A roaster from the year 1958 allows the flavours to fully develop due to the fact that the coffee beans are roasted for a longer period (12-20 minutes), unlike in big roasteries that can roast several tons of coffee in a matter of minutes. Accordingly, they only use top-class raw coffee, which is cultivated and harvested under fair conditions.
