The coffee manufacturer “Mark Schnibbe”, located in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz, roasts and aromatises small batches of high quality and exotic coffee, exclusively according to the customer’s wishes.
The boast an extensive variety of types, including coffees from Africa, South America and Asia, as well as organic coffees from the rainforests, and limited, exotic coffee beans from the Galapagos islands or from Indonesia. Every bean goes through a thorough process, from the raw product to the refined roasted coffee. Every year, the Kaffeemanufaktur Schnibbe travels to many different areas of cultivation along the equator in search of the very best beans. While visiting the plantations and farms, they pay special attention to quality, social justice and fair work conditions.
In September 2007, the coffee manufacturer “Mark Schnibbe” opened in Bad Lauterberg in Lower Saxony, the first roastery and chocolaterie in the southern Harz. The founder and sommelier Mark Schnibbe learned his trade under Prof. L. J. Edelbauer in Vienna, the head of the Austrian Institute for Coffee Experts. He also gained experience at various coffee roasteries in Italy and Germany.
