Nadine Werner has always been inspired by the creations of artists and by nature and has strived to develop something unique and individual from it. The result is extraordinary paper works.
In 2005, the master bookbinder and paper-crafter started her own business in Wendland. Here her handmade albums, books, folders and packaging are brought to life. Nadine Werner works with traditional bookbinding as well as unusual binding techniques and materials combined with innovative design. She selects the materials carefully and undertakes a sensual-haptic journey with it: she has to feel, fold, bend, cut and tear it, thus accompanying it on its way to a three-dimensional object. She likes to use hand-made papers and, where possible, makes adhesive-free bindings. When the function of the planned product is combined with the aesthetic form, Nadine Werner has achieved her goal.
