What began as a hobby a few years ago has now become a unique profession for the founder of the soap manufacturer Linnea, Karin Schleese: The moment when a block of fragrant soap is created is always something special, surprising and beautiful.
The small manufactory located in Hönow, Brandenburg, takes its time to match and test repeatedly the raw materials based on their skin care properties to compose recipes of soaps with good texture and pleasant foam. The additives such as pigments, oils and herbs give each soap their very own character. After a storage period of four to six weeks, in which the soap is turned over several times, it continues its maturation process in cellophane packaging, where it becomes harder and more productive, without losing its nourishing active ingredients and fragrance oils. The final soaps are certified and are only available from selected specialist dealers. In addition to soaps, the product range also includes bath additives with mango and shea butter.
